# Time Series (Concept)

A time series is a container for time series values. It has a type and several properties. Time series are the leaves of the measure point tree.

# Deactivated Time Series

Deactivated time series do not allow to add any further data and are warned about in the protocols. Imports are quarantined, manual entries inside MDA are prohibited.

Calculated time series cannot be deactivated and will calculate further data if any of its referenced time series receive new data.

WARNING

Measure round values are still added even into deactivated time series to not loose this data or forbid entering the whole measure round. These are warned about in the measure round protocol GUI by marking those values in yellow.

# Deletion of Time Series

You can only delete a time series, if there are no other objects referencing it.
